CONTENT

 

The Workshop is a full, interactive 2-day programme.

The first day is on 23rd of August 2010 followed by a

break on the 2nd day to enable participants prepare

materials for the production day, 25th August, 2010.

The workshop covers three interlocking elements:

  • Different and effective ways to present radio
  • How to help scripts survive the client corridors
  • Making sure everyone’s buying the same commercial

 

PRODUCING /DIRECTING

  • Casting – How To Choose The Best Voice Actors:

§         How to avoid The Usual Suspect voices

§         Finding new talent

§         Auditions or voice CDs?


 

 

  • Directing —How To Get The Best From Actors:

§         Who’s in charge?

§         How to avoid the voiceover voice

§         7 secrets of directing actors

  • In The Studio — Getting the best from Voice Talent and Engineers

§         The role of the Radio Director

§         How to prepare for a studio session

THE HANDS-ON PART

  • Participants are put into teams (usually 3-5 members)
  • Half the teams receive Brief A, half Brief B (Brief B will be adapted to local requirements)
  • Ideal for mixed disciplines - creative, account, clients work amazingly well together.
Fee: NGN 200,000 per participant
